At the Lancaster taproom. They all had the same color and similar taste. Beer I wanted was out on draft but they got me a canned version totally acceptable and minimized any disappoint. A festive smelling layer of spice glides along underneath, as does some light feeling green herbal tones.

The crusted version brings graham with a vengeance. Advice: Need better training on customer service. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE!

Beer: Peanut Chocolate Stout, which was a B. Service: Very, very poor. Expect to wait 10 minutes to be served, and 10 minutes for your check and another 10 minutes to take your credit card. Bring cash so you leave 20 min earlier! You'll have to walk up to the bar to request the bartender to take your credit card, while servers are waiting at nearby tables. It wasn't that busy at 2:00pm. Servers are hanging out at the host booth while your waiting for assistance. Advice: Need better training on customer service. Focus on handling customers that aren't being served due to busy waitresses. Remaining servers have very few patrons at their tables and should be assisting patrons who have been waiting for great lengths. We stopped with friends after a day at the outlets. The building was cool and the food was average. Started off with stale peanuts. Tried about 5 beer sample, all were terrible. They all had the same color and similar taste. Ended up drinking a beer they didn't brew. Will not go back and wouldn't recommend. There are too many better places to visit. I'm not a big craft beer drinker so I've only been to Spring House a few times. However, I find myself returning because of the food! I just had the best cheesesteak I ever had in my life there this week. Do yourself a favor and try it out. I also noticed they have started brewing a lite beer version for those of us who are just not into the heavy craft beer craze. This was something my girlfriend and I would talk about every time we left there in the past. Its kinda refreshing to see a place actually respond to what you think would make it better. Most places wont budge on their approach because they assume they know more than their own customers. My husband and I scored a Groupon beer tour. We were the only two guests on a Sunday afternoon, but John took his time and explained the brewing process in a clear, concise manner. The flight and cheese platter after the tour were fine, but we did not find a new favorite. We were seated without a wait, and our server was pleasant. There was no soup of the day. We felt bad for our server who was the bearer of so much bad news, through no fault of her own. Our table also seemed unstable, as it would shift if someone bumped or leaned on it. So we ate and paid and left. Spring House has a lot going for it—such as its edge of the city location but with roomy outdoor seating and an actual parking lot—but it failed to impress this time. If the issue really is a transition of chefs, I hope things can get turned around. We will probably give it one more chance. Had heard the hype around the smoke wings and they lived up to it. Staff is courteous and willing to get you what you want. Beer I wanted was out on draft but they got me a canned version totally acceptable and minimized any disappoint. I had 0 disappointment getting a can of a beer I wanted. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE! Also hidden oyster gem because even crossing into the off season they were super fresh and tasty. Smaller size but you will find this anywhere in May. All I can say is that staff is smart and responsive to customer need which is something most restaurants lost sight of long ago. Come here and see for yourself this place is amazing and most important the staff will tip the scale on amazing service. Found this place on a Groupon - would come back without! The Groupon included a beer flight try the mango and the chocolate peanut butter , cheese platter, glass and brewery tour. Also ordered a pretzel. Service was personable and tour informative. There is an outdoor patio at the entrance way that welcomes dogs. A comfortable atmosphere if you come solo. The regular food menu looked like typical pub fare, but if the food is anything like the beer, I'm sure it's great. A friend gave me a gift card to this micro brew place called the Spring House. My wife and I gave it a shot one Friday afternoon. It's located off the beaten path in Lancaster. The atmosphere is unique. The eatery bar and brewery are nestled together in a large open warehouse with a casual comfortable appeal. Our server was a darling young lady that actually seemed happy to be there helping us! The beers were great I had the Irish Doughnut and Oatmeal stoudts. I like the rich darkness. My wife had Goofy Foot and signature Seven Gates ales. Both were crisp and tasty. We lunched on the smoked wings maybe the best I've ever had she had a very nice salad and I had the lunch size burger. The food was delicious, priced right and came out timely. Be aware that this is a brewery and they only serve their products. You can NOT get a Bud or a Coors Lite here. They do serve just a couple specialty cocktails but do Not have a full liquor bar. That being said , for me it's what I like and I'll be going back real soon. What a perfect night, it started out great and continued for the 3 plus hours we were there celebrating my wifes' 60th B-day. We have been here before and my wife decided we would celebrate her B-day here with our kids. We went upstairs the game room and were warmly greeted by our awesome bartender, Jessica, who got us set up with drinks. I explained to her that our kids would be coming as well because we were celebrating my wifes birthday. She said she would take care of us for the night and she did an outstanding job of doing so. Even though the place was packed with people, the service was very good for the whole night. There were 11 of us in our group and we all ate, drank and played games all night. I can't say enough about how Jessica did an awesome job of giving us a great night. We love this place, great beer and great food as well. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a fun night.

That being saidfor me it's what I like and I'll be going back real soon. The aroma isn't too bad, with a mix of sticky malt and some pumpkin flavor. Started off with stale peanuts. We stopped with elements after a day at the outlets. Do yourself a favor and try it out. Will not go back and wouldn't recommend. Its kinda refreshing to see a place actually respond to what you think would make it better. A comfortable atmosphere if you come solo. I pan the rich darkness. Explain why you're giving this rating.
